Protecting the privacy and personal data of our customers and other visitors
to this Web site is very important to us. Only the minimum information

that you have requested. We treat all such information as confidential and
do not share, sell or release this information to any outside parties. No

Q: Do you provide
free estimates?
A: Yes. The
first step in planning a project is for you, the homeowner to meet with us
and discuss the project, design ideas and cost perspectives. After this
discussion takes place we can decide if your project goals and Cornerstone's
expertise are a good fit.
Q: Are you
insured?
A: Yes. We
are licensed, bonded and insured in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Q: Do you pull all
the required permits?
A: Yes. Some
contractors may ask you, the homeowner, to pull all the required permits.
You should be cautious about this and ask what reasons they have for not
wanting to pull the permits.
Q: How long has
Cornerstone Design Build, Inc. been in business?
A: We have
been incorporated as Cornerstone Design Build since 1989 but we have been in the
home remodeling business for
over 20 years. We were previously known as Cornerstone Construction of St.
Paul.
Q: How does the
design process work?
A: We use
state-of-the-art Computer Aided Drafting software called Chief Architect
that allows us to review with you your project in either 2-Dimensional (2-D)
views or 3-Dimensional (3-D) views right in your home at your kitchen table
before construction ever begins.
Q: Can you provide
us with references?
A: Yes. We
can provide you with a list of customers that have had projects completed by
Cornerstone that are similar to yours and possibly in your area.
Q: How long will
my project take?
A: Every
project is different. We can give you an accurate assessment of the
timeline for your project after we have discussed and reviewed the project
with you.
Q: How big is
Cornerstone Design Build, Inc.?
A: We are a
medium-sized, family-owned, family-operated design and build company.
Q: Who will clean up the
mess?
A: We will.
In addition to daily clean-up we will remove and dispose of all debris from
the NEW construction project.
